T.J. McConnell rehab update at the All-Star break, and why he's likely done for the season
He last played on Dec. 1 and there's just 22 games left. Therefore, the focus should be on getting healthy for next season.
The Pacers were severely shorthanded last Wednesday against the Wizards in their final game before the All-Star break. They only had nine available, which meant eight players were out due to injuries.
Pacers guard T.J. McConnell was among the group of inactives. He hasn’t played since Dec. 1, needing surgery to repair a ligament in his right wrist. The team expected for him to be in a cast for 10 to 12 weeks and last Tuesday marked 10 weeks since surgery.
At their last game, his right arm was in a sling for the first time — as you can see in the photo above. Why, you ask?
